The End of Environmentalism
Environmentalism in all its stages, explicitly or implicitly preached that the poor have to stay poor because if the wonders of civilization and the generosity of nature are offered to the unwashed masses, nature will eventually resign from its duty and let the humanity to starve. Every incarnation of environmentalism so far justified the vast human misery of its own age using an objective sounding language with terms borrowed from various sciences, which really expressed the ruling classes‹ view of everyone other than themselves.
